Jun 08, 2026"Hello there once again I am adding my review for this taqueria El Pastor del Rica which offers great tasting Al pastor meat tacos worth a try if you are visiting Guadalajara, Zapopan area. Known for its owner who is brothers to the famous world champ boxer Canelo Álvarez. Rica, the owner seems very friendly and people seem to ask for pictures with him during their visit. My opinion or review is based only on my experience and I believe there can be a few additions to the additives such as rábanos( radish, and sauteed onions) the salsas were great specially the chipotle sauce for the al pastor yummy . Also the peanut based salsa was yummy, so was the green salsa and all of the salsas. My thoughts are that they can improve on their service The hosts are very friendly however the waiters need to relax and smile . Oh the tortillas could be a bit warmer for me as I actually ordered a large al pastor order. Now I will be going back some time in the near future. If you are looking for a great tasting taco make sure you stop by if you are in the area."

The price is affordable for everyone, I love that they have a variety of salsas and the desert 10/10. But I have to give this credit to the server, she was so nice and helpful on what I should give it a try. I did not wait a lot to get my food. I also found parking at this establishment it's great to bring your family there's plenty of space to sit."

Apr 09, 2026"We came here several times throughout our stay in Zapopan with our son for soccer and each time the tacos were delicious! The lines yes are long, but totally worth it and go rather quickly! Prices are decent and the hot sauces are so good as well! Ask for grilled onions and jalapeños if that's your thing. So good"
